A Note from the Principal
Dear Families,
Be sure to mark your calendars for our annual Education Fair on Thursday, March 19 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.! Members of our School Advisory Council have been busy planning for this special event. View student projects from across grade levels and subject areas, speak to our teachers and administrators, catch up with other families, and enjoy this celebration of learning. Don't forget to show your school spirit by wearing green and gold. Stay tuned to find out our theme this year!
Also, please remember to complete and submit your family's Enrollment Agreement and registration fees by Friday, February 21, 2020. This is appreciated as we make plans for next school year. Thank you.
Peace and blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal
Our Principals for a Day!
Ashley and Taylor Kluk took over the leadership reins from Ms. Raguz and Mrs. Klepcyk one day last week. As acting principals for the day, they greeted students at the door, did video announcements, took a few phone calls, and enjoyed a casual lunch with friends. Of course, a principal's morning would not be complete without taking a brief coffee break with the office team. Things magically ran very smoothly that day. The girls made an executive decision this granting a free pink and red dress down day for all students for Valentine's Day on February 14! Thank you, girls!
The Wizard of Oz is Coming to SPB!
Please join the eighth grade class, as they are off to see the Wizard! This engaging and colorful play will surely entertain. Do not miss this opportunity to see Dorothy, the Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow as they find their way to the Wizard of Oz! Please join us on Friday, March 6th at 7:00pm, Saturday, March 7th at 7:00pm or Sunday, March 8th at 1:30pm! All tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased at the door or pre-purchased by emailing allisoncarbone@hotmail.com. An order form can be found in your oldest child's communication folder today!

PRIMARY GRADES PARENTS/GUARDIANS-we need you!
The links for February for Grade 3, March for Grade 2, April for Grade 1, May for Kindergarten can be found below.
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:00-1:00. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Lunch/Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:00 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting students to the cafeteria from recess, and supervising in the cafeteria. Volunteers will be with one teacher and two "core" volunteers each day to help direct. Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the grade level link to pick a time convenient for you: Grade 3, Grade 2, Grade 1, Kindergarten.
