Duchenne muscular dystrophy is An inherited disorder of progressive muscular weakness, typically in boys.
Symptoms
frequent falls, trouble getting up or running, waddling gait, big calves, and learning disabilities.
Fewer than 200,000 US cases per year. it happens mostly in boys.
No cures but there are treatments.
