Superintendent's Update
10/25/2020
Dear CSD Parents/Guardians and Faculty/Staff:
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their commitment and collaboration in implementing the hybrid (blended) instructional model last week. We all know that schools are an essential part of the infrastructure of our community because they provide safe, supportive learning environments for students, employ teachers and other staff and enable parents, guardians, and caregivers to go to work. Schools also provide critical services that help to mitigate health disparities, such as school meal programs, social, physical, behavioral, and mental health services.
For this hybrid (blended) instructional model to be safe and sustainable, it will take all of us to do our part in following the established mitigation strategies. October 26, 2020, begins our first formal day of in-person instruction for our elementary students. We all must follow the health and safety plan and mitigation strategies to keep everyone safe.
Thank you in advance for your continued cooperation and collaboration.
