Congratulations!

Way To Go!
The students below have received Caught You At Your Best referrals for the first part of September! Our students are doing an amazing job at being the best that they can be, every day!
Morning Arrival Reminders
Parents, you have been doing an amazing job with morning car line! In order to continue to improve our drop-off process, here are a few reminders:
- Please make sure to pull forward to the hornet sign (pictured below). This allows more students to exit their cars at one time, and helps with the flow of traffic.
- If your child needs some additional assistance getting out of the car, please pull around and park in the designated parking spots, then walk your child to the door.
- The cut off time for using the middle school loop is 7:30. If you arrive after 7:30, you will need to use the elementary car line.
Typing Agent is up and running!
Typing Agent is a program that is purchased by the school district to help students build their keyboarding skills in grades K-5. Due to the dynamic curriculum and the lack of keyboarding students engage in over the summer, all student information is purged each year. This will offer students a refresher at the beginning of the year and those who are proficient will advance quickly. Students who need more practice will be able to work at their own pace. This model should keep all students engaged with activities that are appropriate for their skill level. Students have access to this site 24/7. The website is: https://classic.typingagent.com/
The top box must say fortmill. The students login is the same username and password they use to login to their Google accounts. Please let Mrs. Clark know if you have any questions about this program or logging in.

From the PTO
Volunteer Opportunity
We are thankful for the Tega Cay Police Department for their willingness to provide traffic assistance for us in the mornings! Unfortunately, they are unable to continue doing so at this time. If you, or anyone you know, would be willing to help direct traffic in the morning from 7:05-7:35, please email Mr. Speziale at spezialef@fortmillschools.org. TCPD is willing to provide training for anyone who would like to volunteer their time. Thank you!
