Season of Service
2014
What are you doing to serve this season?
Season of Service 2014 is reaching its half-way point, and lots of great service events are in the works to be implemented in the upcoming months. We are excited to see what God does with these acts of love and are excited to share the stories with the Season of Service community. If you and your faith family have a service event in the works for this season, we would love to hear about it! Please email us at megan@servesacramento.com and share your story. Below are two stories of service, one that happened last year and one happening at the end of this month!
Stories of Service: Community of Faith Blood Drive
When Jeri called Blood Source about the idea, they told her it wouldn't work because they had never had churches work together before. But the first year, three churches served together and Blood Source couldn't believe they had to schedule a second bus for all the sign-ups! September 11, 2014 will be their 4th annual Community of Faith Blood Drive and seven churches will be serving together. Thank you Rocklin area churches for your beautiful yearly gift and witness to the community!
Upcoming Service Event: Love Placer County
