Church School Partnerships: Ending Well

May is a busy time for families, teachers and school administration as the end of the school year brings celebrations, graduations, and administrative deadlines. It is also a perfect time for churches to reach out to your local school in care and support to help your school end its year well. Here are just a few things churches can do (and maybe some ideas YOU can do too!):

1. Give appreciation gifts to teachers, staff and school administration thanking them for the time and effort they gave to students that year

2. Volunteer at the year end celebration your school participates in (Field Day, open house event, graduation etc.) Schools can use the extra hands!

3. Participate in an activity or game with a classroom of students so teachers can have time to wrap up their administrative duties

Is your church caring for a school in a way that is not listed above? We want to hear about it! Please let us know by emailing us at info@actsonline.net or by connecting with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram

Jesus at School- Kids Club Consultants

Kids Club afterschool programs are making a huge difference in the lives of children and in schools and churches in both the Bay Area and most recently in the Sacramento region as well. Take a few minutes to hear Kids Club Consultant's founder Bev Daily share about the ministry and impact that bible based programming can have in public schools.

Kids Club is an after school program in elementary schools designed to teach positive life skills to children through games, music and Bible discussions. It is open to all students in the school. Clubs meet once a week for an hour and a half on elementary school campuses. Kids Clubs have successfully served in the public schools for the past fifteen years. For information about starting a Kids Club at your local school, contact Doug Millsap at doug@kidsclubconsultants.org
