The OBOB state tournament is tomorrow. Wish Irvington's team (the "Oh, Bobs") good luck! Out of the 400+ teams across the state, the Oh, Bobs are in the top 33 who were invited. We're so proud of you!
With excitement,

Tea with Mr. G.
These tests (called "OSAS" or SBAC") are an opportunity for students to show what they've learned this year, and they consist of multiple choice questions plus a few open-ended questions (for which students type a response). We try to make these as gentle as possible by limiting the length of time students are testing (typically an hour or less per session). If you have any questions about the process, please let me know!

Restaurant Nights
Speaking of restaurant nights, we have received negative feedback about unruly child behavior at our last restaurant night. (A server reported to her supervisor that a student blocked her way and hit her while she was serving food.) We'd like to remind our school community that during restaurant nights and other community events, families are still responsible for their children, and restaurant-appropriate, respectful behavior is expected. Restaurants are open for business beyond our school community during our fundraisers, so we need to be mindful of other patrons enjoying their dinners as well. Let's remember to put our best foot forward and represent Irvington well! Thank you, Eagles.
Scholastic Book Fair Online
For those of you who were able to stop by this week after school, thank you for coming to the Book Fair! In case you missed it and still would like to order books, you still can! Visit our Scholastic Book Fair Website and shop the Online Book Fair through April 23rd. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25.
