National Hockey Mask Day
November 1
National Hockey Mask Day
People wear hockey masks whenever they want to. There aren't very many rules, and this is pretty much a free-for-all holiday. This holiday should be celebrated by more than just a few people because hockey, I feel, is a very unappreciated sport, and should be recognized more. Hockey masks have changed a lot over the years, and they have gotten less creepy. This means, we could walk about with a hockey mask on, not creeping people out.
New and Improved!
This new and improved hockey mask allows the player to see and not get hurt without his face needing to be fit. It will even protect your eyes (unlike the old one). You could hang ornaments on the mask part of the helmet if you really wanted to.
Old Hockey Mask
Some people say that this type of mask is still good because it hides your face more, but how will you celebrate as everyone screams your name after you score? This type of mask is good if you want to spy on someone and be creepy, which is totally not acceptable on this holiday.
The Original Mask
This was an original hockey mask that was very under-protective of the face, the head, and everywhere else from the neck up.
The Masks
These masks are all acceptable on National Hockey Mask day because they are all hockey masks and they are all wonderful. They may stink of sweat, but every hockey player knows that you wear your mask until it is completely worn out. The mask keeps us safe, and we always want to practice safety, along with amazing sports!
