PBIS Staff Update
REVIEW OF EXPECTATIONS
Please take the time to review the school expectations with your class. As the trimester comes to an end, it is a good time to refresh the students with our expectations around the school. Here is a folder with all the lessons!
CICO
This program works best when we are all in! Teachers, please be consistent about sending your students to their coach at the beginning and end of the day. Coaches, please turn the entire week of point sheets to the office every Friday so we can track progress.
Tier 2 Interventions
Please use this form if you'd like to refer a student to CICO or SAIG. If one of your students is identified through behavior data, your Tier 2 team will contact you about getting the process started. Please reach with any questions.
TAP OUT
Remember, in order to support teachers who need an emotional break or need to step away from a situation, your PBIS team has started “Tap Out”. Any teacher or staff member who needs a break due to an intense situation that occurred in their space can call Lori in the office. She will find an available staff member to be in your room within 5 minutes for up to a 5-minute break.

Resources from The National Equity Project
Each week I will share a resource that supports and reinforces our equity focus. I received a long list of resources from the National Equity Project. Rather than sending the whole list, I'll send one along each week in the weekly update.
As we continue to work on culturally responsive practices, I trust you will find something of use to continue to strengthen the tools you have in your toolbox.
