PRINCIPAL'S CORNER

We are switching learning modes next week. We will be face to face with all kids. Remember that Wednesday is still a virtual learning day for grades 2-5. Please ask your child's teacher if you have any questions.

As we continue through this year is it vital that families and school work together in the education of the children. Our partnership needs to be as strong as ever right now. Making learning a priority in the home will help learning continue. Social and emotional well being is very important to learning as well so please work to keep a balance. If you are in need of support in any way, reach out and we will do all that we can to support you and your family.

Take care and stay safe and healthy.

Mrs. Michalski

Notes from the Office

Cold weather: The weather is getting colder and we want to remind our parents that students will need to dress appropriately to stay warm during recess breaks. Students should wear a winter jacket, hat and mittens. When we have snow then children will need to wear snow pants and boots to keep them warm and dry as possible.

Inclement weather/emergency closing: Abrams Elementary is part of the Oconto Falls School District, therefore when Oconto Falls Schools are cancelled or delayed this includes Abrams Elementary. Parents are notified of school closings or early dismissals through Skylert our emergency notification system , through local radio and TV stations, and District website or District Facebook page. For more information please read the attachment below.

Report Cards

The 1st trimester has ended and teachers are working on the report cards. Report cards will be sent home with your child on Thursday, December 10th.

School Dress Up Days!

Every Friday our 5th graders get to pick a special "shirt" day or "dress-up" day. Participation is optional, however this is just a fun way to end the week.

December 4: Hat Day

December 11: Pajama Day
