Congratulations to Eunice High’s Boys Doubles Zachary Joubert and Matthew Miller for competing at the LHSAA state tennis tournament, after making it to the semi-final round of Regional competition last week.

STUDENTS AT EAST ELEMENTARY EXHIBITING GOOD BEHAVIOR FOR THE 3RD QUARTER WERE TREATED TO A FUN EVENT WHICH INCLUDED POPSICLES, CASUAL DRESS, AND FREE PLAY TIME.

EAST ELEMENTARY STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH
Glendale Pre-K students learned all about "The Farm". During this two week theme, all class activities and centers were planned around this farm theme. The students were able to experience eggs hatching in an incubator and making their own butter. The week came to an end with the visit from BAR NONE Petting Zoo, where students were able to have hands-on experiences with a variety of farm animals.

LAWTELL ELEMENTARY! The 4th-grade students in the Just One Word, Inc. 21st Center Community Learning Center constructed their own Star Wars droid and controlled it using a smartphone app. The purpose of the lesson was to become knowledgeable of electronics and invention. The app encourages the students to build the robot and then make new robots. Ms. Tawasha Thomas facilitated as the students collaborated with each other to complete the activity.
LAWTELL ELEMENTARY JUST ONE WORD, INC 21ST CCLC! Experimenting on the last day of Saturday School Academy! 5th and 6th students performed an experiment using oranges to demonstrate plate tectonics. Mrs. M. Simien-Guillory, Mrs. C. Simien, and Ms. F. Green lead the students in this engaging activity.
North Elementary gets ready for testing - thank you to Dante Murphy (assistant district attorney) for the donuts and the encouraging words for our students! With hard work and effort, you can achieve ANYTHING!
