BBRSD Central Office Update
May 13, 2022
Department of Teaching and Learning
A Request For Contacts Tahanto is seeking professionals who would be willing to host a Tahanto junior or senior student for a job shadowing day (a single-day commitment) or an internship opportunity (a several weeks commitment) in the spring of 2023 or beyond. Right now we are merely building a database; offering your contact information does not mean that you are obligated at this time. If you (or a colleague) are interested in potentially offering this opportunity to a Tahanto student in the future, please reach out to our Internship Database Consultant, Jessica Gallagher, at jgallagher@bbrsd.org. Thank you! Parent Camp for our Incoming Kindergarteners & Their Parents Parent Camp is up and running again at our elementary schools for incoming kindergarteners and their parents. Berlin Memorial School will host on Monday, May 23rd from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Boylston Elementary School will host on Thursday, March 26th from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. This is a wonderful time to meet principals, teachers, and staff, get to know your classmates, and learn some games and activities that you can play together this summer in preparation for the start of school. If you know any new families who may have students new to our schools, please encourage them to sign up by contacting Brenda Bachant at bbachant@bbrsd.org.

Director of Pupil Personnel
Technology Department
As we begin to, dare I say it, come out of the pandemic, the Technology Department is planning on how we can maintain the level of personal computing devices we have now come to expect at our three schools. To that end, I ask that you please take the time to answer this very brief (4 questions) survey regarding the District implementing a device insurance program. Click here to complete the survey. Thank you in advance for your time.
