MAY 8TH -- KONA ICE WILL COME TO MURASKI
We have invited the Kona Ice Truck to our school on May 8th. This is a PTA fundraiser to add more equipment to our playground.
Kona Ice has already purchased a new piece of equipment for Muraski! We are waiting on a Snail Rocking toy, and as soon as it arrives our Maintenance Department will install it for us.
The cost for an ICY will be:
$3/12oz. - or - $4/16oz.
$5/20oz. Color Changing* - or - $5/22oz. Souvenir*
* lifetime $3 refills
If you would like your child to participate in the Fundraiser for our playground, please send money with your child that day. The Kona Truck will be at our school on May 8th.
End of the Year Reminders....
- Behavior – Please help us maintain a safe and orderly environment by reminding your child each day to continue to do their best academically and to follow school rules. Incidences of misbehavior often increase in May and June resulting in students being suspended from school and missing some of the fun events we have planned. Please encourage your child to finish the school year on a positive note.
- Dress – Even though it will get warm, our students still have a job to do . . . learn. They must come to school dressed appropriately for their work. A reminder that NO flip flops, NO short shorts, NO bare midriffs, and NO tank tops are allowed. Please remind children to dress appropriately. If they arrive at school dressed inappropriately, parents will be called and asked to bring a change of clothes to school for their child.
- Lunch – There will be NO school lunch service provided on the last day of school, June 6th.
- Early Dismissal on Last Day of School - All K-5 students will be dismissed at 2:05 p.m. on June 6th. AM Kdg is released at 11:05 a.m.
Preparing for Next Year...
If you are planning to move or withdraw your child from Muraski Elementary School for any reason, please let us know immediately. There are some papers that need to be filled out
. Additionally, if you know of a neighbor or friend who might be enrolling their student at Muraski for next school year, please ask them to contact the school office for details about enrolling. This is especially important for any 1st graders coming to us from other kindergarten programs in the area. The more information we have and the sooner we get it, the better prepared we are to plan for next year.
Thank you for your help!
