Mary Endres Elementary School
Mary Endres Office Hours - Summer 2021
Welcome Mrs. Sosin, the Principal for 2021-2022
My name is Christi Sosin and I am overjoyed to be the next Principal at Mary Endres Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year. I have heard so many amazing things about the Mary Endres community and I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your children.
Mary Endres has a great reputation of having a collaborative environment that is student-centered. My goal is to work closely with the community who places education and supporting students as a priority. I believe we share common goals of shaping students’ futures and providing opportunities for all to feel included and successful.
I wanted to share a little bit about myself and my experience. I’m approaching my 25th year in education and have taught students in grades K-8. I have also been a building based and district level literacy instructional coach. Most recently I have served the Schaumburg community as an Assistant Principal for the past 7 years. On a personal note, I live nearby in Lake in the Hills with my husband Greg, my ready-for-high-school 14-year-old daughter Gabi, and our Cavachon Bella. I also have two fantastic step-children, Cody and Kylie, who are 27 and 24.
As we are reaching the end of the school year, please know how excited I am to get to know all of you. In my opinion there is no better occupation than to serve students, families and staff and to be able to be part of a school community where students thrive. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions and would like to share anything to help me get to know you better.
Have a wonderful summer –
Staffing Updates for the 21-22 School Year
Staffing at Mary Endres will be going through several changes next year and we wanted to let all of our families know what is going on. We have two 5th grade teachers retiring, three teachers taking new positions, and four teachers coming on board. Click on this link to see all of the changes. https://www.smore.com/6nxd8
In addition, I will be moving to Galesburg, IL this summer and taking a new position as the principal of Mable Woolsey Elementary School in Knoxville, IL. Woodstock has been my home for the last 25 years and I will miss it dearly. I am so proud of the work we have done together to grow in our abilities, set students up for success, and engage with our community. Thank you for everything! - Ms. Pala

Hot Spot Collection - If we loaned you one from March 2020 to now, we need it back
At the end of this school year, we will be disconnecting access on all of the district owned Hotspots. If necessary, we will reissue hotspots in the future. Please return the device to your child's school on their last day of attendance. Students who have lost or unreturned hotspots will be charged $72.00. Please avoid the charge and return your student's device to school.
Questions - email - firstname.lastname@example.org
