Hello From ACMA
March 2023
Message From Principal Paige
Hello ACMA Family,
After a weird, wintery wonderland of a week last week we find ourselves on the threshold of March. That means spring will be in the air, after the rain and snow, and as we look ahead to warmer weather I’d encourage you to dive into the calendar to see all of the upcoming events on campus. From Almost, Maine opening in March to a Classical Alive concert the following week, the Pinwheel Writing Festival and more, these weeks before Spring Break are packed with events.
Did you know that we have a performance every week this month? This week it’s a concert by Classical Alive and our Jazz musicians, next week we see two plays open, and the following week a Choir Concert and Drag Night. We’ll need spring break to rest up after all that.
In addition to those performances, this Saturday we host our annual Pinwheel Writing Festival, a chance for ACMA writers to hear from professionals, engage in workshops and a writing competition, and the event concludes with a poetry reading. So very ACMA.
Wishing everyone a fantastic week and month ahead,
Bjorn
A Successful LAIKA Night

Questions were asked about fimmaking and career pathway opportunities. The afterwards the LAIKA filmmakers invited ACMA students to come up and see everything from props to Kubo! THANKS to these incredible and kind artists for being so generous with our kids!
