December News
Since the first snow fell, our students show us they are ready for all the winter holidays! Our classrooms are filled with talk of presents, decorations, family gatherings, and days with no school. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather each day as we will continue to go outside to play. Also, please label all hats, gloves, scarves, and jackets to avoid lost items.
December brings many special activities and learning activities for students in all grades. Please be sure to read all flyers coming home in Thursday packets and Konstella messages sent via e-mail.
Thank you in advance for your support with our community giving events. Our collection of food for November truly showed our community's giving spirit! Your persistent actions of supporting all of our community members is much appreciated!
We want dads, grandfathers, uncles, and male figures important in your child's life!
We have had 15 WATCH D.O.G. Dad days this year so far! The overwhelming reactions from our students is one for the memory books! If you would like to volunteer for a full day or half day, please make sure you have your clearances. Click here for details on how to get your clearances. If you have your clearances, pick a date between October and March. Then e-mail Mrs. Brucker (jbrucker@methacton.org) to see if that date is available. That's it! Remember you are a rock star the entire day, and Aramark provides you with lunch!
Winter Concert, Monday, December 3rd @ 7PM
Our fourth grade chorus, band, and third and fourth grade orchestra students are ready to showcase their talents at our Winter Concert. We encourage parents to use the shuttle bus from Heebner Park. Parking will be limited at the school. Cars parked illegally may be ticketed and towed. No cars may be parked on the sides of the driveway to allow for emergency vehicles to enter our campus.
Holiday Workshop, 12/3 - 12/6
The Holiday Workshop is a special time of the year when Worcester students are given the opportunity to do some holiday shopping. The students are able to shop for their family members, friends, and pets. Our workshop items range from $0.25 to $6.50. The dates for shopping will be: December 3rd thru December 6th. Each teacher has selected an appropriate time for their class to attend the shop. Look for more details in flyers sent home.
