Timberwolf Trot: Amazing, colossal, epic fundraising effort timberwolves!
If your family wants to sneak in more money the fundraising site does not close until 11:59 p.m. tonight. It came down to the wire but every single class achieved their $1000 goal! There is an extra recess and frozen treats in everyone's future. Mr. Russell and some staff will need to find a comfy pair of PJs to sleep on the roof on Wednesday, May 23rd. Mark your calendars!
Stay tuned for Monday's announcements when we raffle off our grand prize limo ride from Go Riteway and our other grand prize an Ollie from Bespectacled. Please check backpacks next week as giftcards from local businesses will be sent home to raffle winners.
Teacher appreciation week is next week. Don't forget to let the Washington staff know how special they are to you and your student(s). There are still a few spots open for giftcards, cash donations and food. Check out the sign up genius and sign up to help make next week memorable.

2018-2019 School Year--Are You Returning?/Class Placement Input
Attention parents: We are asking for your help in preparing for the 2018-19 school year.
Are you returning to Washington?
If your child(ren) currently attends Washington, and you will be leaving our school or the district for any reason (moving, private school, etc.), please let us know as soon as possible. Knowing that information over the summer will help us plan for projected class sizes, staffing needs and more for next school year. Click on LINK to fill out the form. Thank you in advance for your help.
Class Placement: We are requesting your feedback through the Student Information Form HERE. We value your input and want to take it into consideration as we determine classroom assignments. Please note, requests for specific teachers will not be considered. Thank you for working with us to provide the best learning environment for your child(ren). Please return this information to the office by May 11th.
Wauwatosa School District Facilities Survey
The Wauwatosa School District is continuing to gather broad community input in our long-range master facilities planning process.
In the next two weeks (mid-to-late April), all Wauwatosa residents will receive a facilities planning survey from the District. Please watch for this in your mailbox and take 10 minutes to complete the survey. Your input matters and we look forward to hearing from you.
When the survey arrives, read the front page carefully. It includes instructions for how to obtain a second survey if you have more than one adult member in your household that wants to participate. Additionally, District parents and staff will receive an emailed link. Paper copies will also include a link for completing the survey online. We encourage you to take the survey in whichever format you feel most comfortable.
Click HERE for a flyer to share on your social media accounts to help increase awareness of the survey's upcoming arrival and encourage your neighbors, friends and family who are residents to participate.
The results of the survey will be presented to the Wauwatosa School Board, the Facilities Advisory Committee, and the community during the June 11th Board meeting. You are invited to attend.
Results will also be shared via our District website and District communication.
