Merry Christmas
What a year 2019 has been! Our College is one special place to be and one that I am grateful to have been called to serve within. May I take this opportunity to thank each student, staff member and family for your willingness to welcome my family and I into the TLC community and support me in my role.
I would like to acknowledge and thank the efforts of the staff leaving our college. Miss Hillier thank you for your gift to Trinity and every blessing for your move back to Adelaide, we will miss you! Mrs Sayer, thank you for taking Prep this term, you have been amazing and we look forward to seeing you around our community next year as you continue to assist us with relief and contract work. We are very lucky to have you!
When I think of the best way to summarise our year I think I would describe it as......our College is on the move! We have made many changes throughout 2019 as we strive for continuous improvement for all our learners. 2020 will continue this exciting journey as we work towards major building upgrades and improved facilities for all, IB authorisation and building our College to be the best it can be! Contemporary learning is fun, it’s challenging and most of all it is preparing our children for the world that they will live and work in!
May you and your family have a safe and joyous season!

2020 Staffing Update
We are excited to announce Mr Devan Edwards is joining our Secondary Team, along with Mrs June Evans-Caulfield in 2020.
Mr Edwards will teach across the secondary year levels including PE, Christian Studies and I&S classes. We are excited to have Devan join our team and know his background in Business, focus on developing positive and engaging learning environments and love of being active will be a perfect fit for Secondary at Trinity!
Ms Evans-Caulfield brings international school experience in leading the MYP and we know will be an amazing driver of our IB learning program at TLC. We are extremely blessed to have her join our team and look forward to 2020!
Miss Davis and Miss Whitworth, our new primary teachers for 2020 have both been in and met students and are eagerly awaiting the New Year as well.
We consider our College to be blessed to have been able to employ such high quality teachers and know they will all bring amazing skills to our team!
Prep - Year 2 Literacy Specialist
In our 2019 Strategic Plan the College has identified the need to provide specialist support for students, especially in the early years. As a result of this goal, in 2020 Mrs Dianne Buffon will take on the role of P-2 Literacy specialist for 2 days per week. She will focus on explicit literacy teaching for our younger students to focus on all students reaching key literacy benchmarks. Mrs Cherie Brown who we were so grateful to employ this year will teach 1/2B in partnership with Mrs Buffon.
The additional bonus of this new program is allowing our intervention staff to have increased time working with students across the upper years.
Secondary Timetable
In 2020 our College is offering double stream (2 classes per year level) for all core subjects across Years 7-10. This is great news for our students!
Students in Years 9 & 10 in 2020 have been issued with their allocated electives for the New Year based on their preferences submitted. We are excited to have been able to offer a much broader choice of options for our students than previously and look forward to the learning experiences ahead.
Sunset Hall Car Park
From this weekend the Sunset Hall Car Park will be closed as we begin works on updating the facility. We are super excited to be able to seal the surface of the carpark with appropriate markings for clear entry and exit of traffic, lined carparks, another drop and go facility as well as wider entry gate! We hope to have the works as close to completed as possible for the start of the new year.
