Adjectives
- Help you see, feel, taste, hear, and smell the experiences you read about.
- Describe nouns and pronouns.
- Can answer the questions what kind, which one, how many, and how much.
Adverbs
- Modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
- Can answer the questions how, when, where, or to what extent.
- Can appear in different positions in sentences.
- Adverbs that modify adjectives or other adverbs usually come directly before the words they modify.

Really Blue
The sky is really blue today!
Fluffy
I saw a fluffy dog at the park.
Joyfully
The boy joyfully jumped.
