Adjectives

  1. Help you see, feel, taste, hear, and smell the experiences you read about.
  2. Describe nouns and pronouns.
  3. Can answer the questions what kind, which one, how many, and how much.

Adverbs

  1. Modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
  2. Can answer the questions how, when, where, or to what extent.
  3. Can appear in different positions in sentences.
  4. Adverbs that modify adjectives or other adverbs usually come directly before the words they modify.
