M.M.S. News & Notes
December 3, 2021
From the Principal
M.M.S. Parents and Guardians,
Good afternoon! I am hopeful you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and were able to unplug for a few days. I got to spend some well-needed time with my family, friends and enjoyed some time outdoors as well. The holiday season can be a stressful time but also provides us an opportunity to reflect upon all the things we are most grateful for.
Although it is hard for me to comprehend, this past week we turned our calendars to December and we have just over two weeks until the Holiday break. Typically, this is the time of the year when our students need to be reminded to keep it going in a high gear and not slow down academically in anticipation of an extended break. Please take time to review your child's grades in Sapphire and check their agenda book for daily/upcoming assignments.
Thank you so much for everything that you are doing to keep our schools safe and open. Do not hesitate to reach out to the school nurse, grade level school counselor, Assistant Principal or to me with any questions or concerns you may have (and do not forget to share good news!). Take care, be well and enjoy your weekend.
Joel Yohn, Principal

Showcase Your 8th Grade Student in the 2021/2022 Yearbook
Oh, Baby!
You may submit a cute, funny or even embarrassing photo of your child, when they were age 5 or under, and create a custom message to encourage them in high school, tell them how proud you are or to congratulate them on their accomplishments here at M.M.S.
The yearbook is a keepsake that will be cherished for a lifetime. Adding an OH, BABY! Photograph, with a special message from you, will make the book unique and special for your student. Oh, Baby! Forms and payment are due by December 10, 2021.
