The background was chosen because when you smoke your time of life is being taken away, and the image in the background looks how the inside of the clock looks.
Effects of Smoking on Lungs
When you smoke the cigarettes have a substance called tar which is a brown tacky substance left behind on the end of a cigarette. Smoking causes lung disease. Lung disease is chronic bronchitis and leading cause of emphysema. This picture relates to the background image how the time is ticking and every day you smoke your lungs get worse.
Cigarettes
A cigarette contains more than 4000 chemicals that are harmful to a humans health. The three main chemicals in tobacco which is in the cigarette are Nicotine, Carbon Monoxide, and Tar. Nicotine is the addicting substance in the cigarette, carbon monoxide is the colorness, odorness, and tasteless gas found in cigarette smoke that blocks oxygen from getting into the bloodstream. Tar is the substance that is left behind on the end of a cigarette
Long term effects
Heart problems, cancer, lung disease, and other health problems are long term effects of smoking.
