The Weekly Connection
Updates from the Principal's Office - January 9th, 2022
Message from Mrs. Jones
We are off to a great start to 2nd semester! As we returned this week we were thrilled to now have access to additional outdoor seating in the "bowl" area of our main quad. The grass area will remain fenced just a tiny bit longer to allow our tender new grass to grow a bit, and additional shade structures will be installed soon, but we are so excited to be able to utilize all of the new seating (see photos below for a sneak peek). The next few weeks will bring added excitement as we continue to see more and more progress on our campus construction!
We appreciate your continued partnership with us as we focus on supporting our students' work as determined learners who plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate tools and resources. This focus will be especially important for our seniors this semester as they continue to make informed decisions about their post-graduation plans, as well as for our 9th-11th graders as they make decisions about the courses they will most benefit from taking next year.
Just a quick reminder as well about the importance of helping your student arrive on time each day. This is crucial for setting them up for success, so we appreciate your support!
Please take a moment to review the "Upcoming Events" section of the newsletter, found below, as there are a few important dates coming up over the next few weeks.

Hello Fallbrook Families!
As we begin the new semester, the counseling department would like to remind families of our policies regarding schedule changes.
All classes are yearlong and the only changes that will be honored are level changes (where a corresponding course is available), changes needed to progress towards graduation, and those previously discussed with parent, counselor, and student, in relationship to student needs.
Seniors who qualify to be a teacher's aid can apply directly with their counselor before Winter Break. Requests will be accepted until January 14th and can be made directly to your student's counselor.
Thank you!
Your Counseling Office Team
