This offers 160 acres of free land to any citizen or intended citizen who is head of household!
What do you have to do to be a Homesteader?
To be a Homesteader, there's only three requirements. 1) File the land grant application. 2) you must live on the land that is given to you for at least 5 years. 3) You must show that, in at least one way, you improved the land that was granted to you. This could be done by soil work, adding trees, and even just farming the ground.
