Roundtable: BMS Strategic Update November 7th, 2015
BMS will kick off the second year of our roundtable series on November 4, 2015 with an update and presentation on current and important strategic initiatives at BMS. Roundtables at the Berlin Metropolitan School are aimed at both educating and fostering discussions amongst all stakeholders of the community, with the central purpose of extending key components of our culture, vision and mission statement. We will welcome Silke Friedrich, Executive Director, who will offer a presentation on school program developments, building and facility improvements, as well as important upcoming accreditations BMS will pursue. Parents are cordially invited to attend the evening´s presentation and ensuing discussion on November 4, 2015 beginning at 7:00pm.

Workshop at KunstHalle by Deutsche Bank - XENOPOLIS We Are Berlin!
´We are Berlin!´ is part of a city that is lively and colorful, often crazy and dirty, and sometimes wonderful. What does” typical” Berlin mean to you? What is “home” and what is foreign? Your ideas will be questioned: how can we live together in the city?
We are looking for: city-lovers, urban-researchers and urban-planners! Together we will explore the exhibition and ultimately create our own city-based works of art.

Learning News from the Primary School!
Grade 2 Role Models
Students learned about role models, adjectives, verbs and nouns. At the end of the unit, they created posters to teach others how to be a role model. They also invented games that teach about adjectives, verbs and nouns.
