Data
Third grade teachers chose the following standard for their smart goal: 3.OA.8 Solve two-step word problems using the four operations. Represent those problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown.
This is very complex for third graders and at the beginning of the year teachers didn't think it would be possible to take students to a level 4 question. Mrs. Weber and I had discussions with them and I ended up coming up with a problem for them to try with students. Once we had one teacher who had one kid able to do the task, the other teachers saw that it was obtainable and we went from 0% to 10% of third graders able to obtain level 4.

I have provided support in assessment, data collection, and analysis. I work with teacher (s) and /or teams to analyze student and/or teacher data from multiple sources for the purpose of identifying appropriate student interventions and staff professional development.
I have worked with a diverse group of people and I am able to meet people where they are on their learning and take them to the next step. I am able to break things down to manageable steps and can communicate clearly. I attached a link to reference letters from a variety of people I have worked with, please feel free to contact anyone I have worked in the past. I truly want to make this a better school district for my children and others. I know I could have a positive impact.
