Harrison Happenings
April 6-10
This week in Room 300...
This week technically begins our 4th nine weeks. We will begin some new standards in most of our subjects, and we will continue to assess on the previous nine weeks' standards for the next few days.
Math: We will begin subtraction! This is always a harder concept for students to grasp than addition, so please make sure to thoroughly go over the homework with them each night.
Science: Since many of you just celebrated Easter, we will be learning about oviparous animals (animals that come from eggs).
Writing: We will be writing about oviparous animals based on the facts we learn in science.
Guided reading: We are finishing up assessments during guided reading time, and as soon as we finish, I will be rearranging groups based on their reading levels which you will see on their report cards.
