Notes from the teacher
We had a GREAT first week in fourth grade! We look forward to continuing our STAR behavior throughout the rest of this year!
The fourth grade takes an overnight field trip at the beginning of the year to Camp Carlisle. This is a wonderful experience where the kids receive an extension of the science curriculum. There will be experiments, hiking, team building, and other various science-related activities. For this trip, we need as many chaperones as we can get. In order to chaperone you must have a background check on file. It would be best to get that finished at least one month in advance to ensure that it is processed in time. More information about Camp Carlisle will be sent out in the beginning of September.
Fourth grade hosts the Back to School Dance/Social. It will be after school on September 6th. We will be asking for donations as well as helpers (background check needed) to make this successful. Be on the look out for more information next week!
