Consoles of the 90's
Their were 5 main game consoles in the 90's. The Nintendo 64, SNES, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, Atari Jaguar, and 3DO Interactive Multiplayer.
Games
There were tons of games out in the 90's including the original Grand Theft Auto, Mario Kart 64, NBA Jam, SimCity, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Original Analog Stick
This was the original analog stick. It had one or two buttons. This came out in the early 90's.
Advanced analog stick from the 90's
Includes an advanced analog stick and several other buttons. The analog stick was better shaped so someone could get to all the buttons with one hand. This came out in the mid-90's.
Computer of the 90's
This is an Apple IIc. It came out in the early 90's.
Graphics and Sound Quality
The graphics were good for the time period. Most games graphics were pixelated but they didn't have the same technology then as they do now. The sounds on most games were not very realistic but they sounded close enough that the player would know what happened.
Impact on Gaming Industry
This time period of gaming changed a lot. The graphics got much better, the sounds were different, and there were much more interesting and fun games and consoles.
Target Audience
The target audience for the games were pretty much everybody. They wanted lots of people to play their game so they advertised their game for all ages.
