5th Grade Newsletter

November 30th - December 4th

Colder Weather

We will continue to be cautious about going outside when the weather is too cold, but please continue to have your students wear coats to school and not just sweatshirts. If they want a sweatshirt to wear during the day in our classrooms that is fine, but please remind them to throw on their winter coat before walking out the door in the morning. We would hate to have anyone get sick because of the lack of warmth.

Book Club

5th grade Book Club has been a total hit it seems! I have had a great turn out every week. Our last Book Club will be Wednesday, December 16th. After Christmas Break we will begin our Battle of the Books season. If you or your child is interested in hearing more information, please feel free to e-mail me. I have almost all of the books in my classroom library and they are also in the school library and public library. I hope to have quite a few students who participate this year!
