MESSAGE FROM MRS. FURMAN
We had a great picnic. It was wonderful to see so many students and families. Everyone enjoyed the ice cream provided by the PTO, meeting the teachers, and the school tours.
Please remember to drop off your children between 8:50 and 9:00AM. School begins at 9:00AM. If your child is late please park your car and come to the front door to sign them in.
In the afternoon, if you are picking up your children please remain in your car and have your name card visible in your windshield. Follow the directions of the police and safety advocate. This will help the process move safely, quickly, and efficiently. Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Furman
Principal

It is time to start thinking about Socktober!
Facts:
- Each night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets.
- Socks are one of the least donated items to homeless shelters.
- Even a small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless.
Since then, sock drives have been springing up to benefit local shelters.
Kid President has teamed up with Socktober to spread the word. Last year, people on all seven continents donated pairs of socks!

We will collect the socks outside the Media Center from Oct 1st to Oct 29th
Our goal is to collect over 1000 pairs of socks!
