PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Speaking of celebrating, that is our theme this year! We are celebrating 30 years of learning at Evergreen. Throughout the year we will share with you our celebrations on our learning goals, behavior goals, and general shout outs as we celebrate the daily tasks at our school.
It has been a pleasure getting to know kids and families so far, and I look forward to growing those relationships. Please do not hesitate to reach out!

SCHOOL COUNSELOR UPDATES
September 2021
Dear Evergreen Parents/Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back to school. My name is Mrs. Tricia Kedrowicz and I would like to introduce myself to the new families and briefly explain my role as a school counselor to all families. I have been working in the Waterford Graded School District since 2002, I have been a classroom teacher, Math Intervention Teacher, and School Counselor. I have been a School Counselor since 2013 I am very excited to be working with all of the Evergreen families this year.
My goal as a school counselor is to help your child feel successful this year by providing a thorough program. One of the four main components of Evergreen’s Comprehensive School Counseling Program is developmental classroom lessons that will be taught once a month in kindergarten through fifth grade. We use Second Step which is a social-emotional curriculum that will drive most of my classroom lessons. Classroom lessons teach students to set goals, make better decisions, collaborate with others in work and play, navigate the world more effectively and gain self-confidence.
Another main component of Evergreen’s Comprehensive School Counseling Program is responsive services in which I will conduct confidential small groups, when deemed safe, throughout the school year on a variety of topics. In addition, I meet with students for short-term individual counseling. Parents, staff, and/or the students themselves may request individual counseling and/or participation in group counseling.
Providing a positive educational experience for your son or daughter is my number one priority. I look forward to working with you and your child this year. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know I am happy to help. Here is my email address and phone number (514-8210 x1048) or (Kedrowicz@waterford.k12.wi.us ).
Thank you,
Mrs. Tricia Kedrowicz
