Board plans to place referendum on March 2020 ballot
At its July 30 meeting, the Board discussed which projects should be included in a future school district referendum question. The Board plans to place a referendum question on the March 2020 ballot. The statutory deadline for the Board to approve a referendum question on the March ballot is December 30, 2019, however Board members are preparing to make that decision in advance of the deadline. The referendum discussion will continue at the next Board meeting on August 13, as the Board prepares to vote on which projects should be included and the total dollar amount.
*Please note, the August 13 Board meeting will begin at 6:30pm, instead of 7pm, at the District Administrative Center at 515 W. Main Street.
