Nurses Corner - Important news and updates
The Diocese of Worcester and St. Anna have your child's safety and health in mind.
COVID-19 is a respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) virus, and we are leaning more about it every day. There is currently no vaccine to protect against COVID-19 at this point.
The best way to prevent infection is to avoid being exposed to the virus that causes it. Stopping transmission of the virus through everyday practices is the best way to keep people healthy. Rest assured, we at St. Anna have done a deep cleaning for the arrival of students when the time comes. Continued sensitization of doors, railings, light switches and school furniture in the attempt to reduce the risk of transmission of spreading any viruses once we return to the building continue. We are utilizing antibacterial soaps and encouraging everyone to wash their hands regularly and cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing.
To prepare for possible community transmission of COVID-19, St. Anna is implementing virtual learning. With your help, students will remain engaged and up to date on subject matter even though they are not in the school building. Thank you teachers and parents for your commitment to our students.
Keep informed and up to date as changes occur in the protection against COVID-19. These sites are updated regularly with the latest guidance regarding accurate data from the scientific community.
