What Have We Learned? This week we got to explore how different instruments make different sounds! The students were able to hit drums, strum guitars, and listen to the teacher play other instruments including the flute, tuba, and piano. They were fascinated by each one and cannot wait to learn more about them! | Upcoming Events On April 3rd at 7:30 PM, the music department will be having their biannual music program. Each class has been preparing a performance that demonstrates what they have been learning this past semester. Song of the Week!
This week's piece is a solo piano work by Maurice Ravel (1875-1937), an impressionist composer, titled Sonatine. Ravel is known for his beautiful melodies, textures, and orchestration. Feel free to watch an incredible performance of the piece below!
