Welcome Students, Parents and Staff

Hope everyone is staying safe this week. This week's newsletter has announcements, mindfulness activities, college and career information, plus resources to help during Covid-19.

Please join us for mindfulness weekly sessions that are available for students, parents, and staff they are live but are also recorded so you can go back and play them later. Practicing mindfulness during this time will help you stay strong.

Grandparents Raising their Grandchildren- Fresh Produce Pick- up

Texas Grandparents Raising Grandchildren will be hosting a drive thru produce pick-up, this Saturday.

The boxes will be about 18 lbs of really nice fresh produce from River City Produce. Please share will all grandparents, they must RSVP! There are 200 boxes available

Time: 10-2, (At RSVP we can determine a time slot)

JECA -May 15, 2020 @6:30

Judson HS- May 23, 2020 @9:00 AM

Veterans Memorial HS- May 23, 2020 @ 2:30 PM

Karen Wagner HS - May 23, 2020 @ 7:30 PM

JLA- May 28th @ 6:00 PM

Registration is Open for New and Returning Students

Visit the JISD Website is open for online registration for new and returning students. Please register your students for the 2020-2021 school year! We look forward to all new and returning JISD students choosing Judson ISD! Click on the link below.

Chromebook for Students

You can still get a chromebook complete the form online locating on the JISD website. Pick up is on Wednesday at the educational resource center from 8:00-4:30.

#1 Complete Save your Seat

#2 Complete Apply Texas

# 3 Complete FASFA.

The priority deadline was March 20 to have all 3 complete. If you still need to complete #2 and # 3 please complete them as soon as possible as students who submit will be reviewed on a space available basis. College Counselors will be scheduling FASFA Zoom meetings next week if you need assistance. More details to come. If you have any questions contact your college counselor and check their website for more information.
