EWRSD End-of-School Year Edition
Dear EWRSD Community:
As we say goodbye to the 2022-23 school year and look forward to the sun and fun of summer, I need to express my respect and admiration for the continued efforts and accomplishments of our amazing students, staff, and families. As superintendent, it has been tremendously rewarding and encouraging to witness a vibrant sense of community and engagement within each of our schools this year. This culminated with the recent celebration of the graduating Class of 2023, which reflects a significant milestone and achievement for the 417 HHS seniors, who have successfully concluded their educational journey in the East Windsor Regional School District. As they transition to college, the military, trade school, or enter the workforce, their time as EWRSD students has provided them with a quality education and a collection of meaningful learning experiences and relationships that will contribute to a productive and fulfilling future.
I also need to extend a huge thank you to our district’s very caring and dedicated teachers,
educational staff, and administrators, who have continued to nurture, challenge, encourage, and
successfully educate the 5100 children who walk through the doors of our elementary, middle,
and high schools each day. They have been instrumental in cultivating the academic and
social-emotional development of our students. In addition, I would like to acknowledge the
commitment and contributions of the following teams, whose roles support the education of our
students: custodial, extended day program, food service, maintenance, secretarial,
transportation, and the support staff affiliated with the district’s business office, central
registration, human resources, and technology departments.
Lastly, I offer my sincere gratitude to our very supportive parents and family members. Thank
you for your valued and much needed partnership. Whether your child is in kindergarten or 12th
grade, you have provided the foundation and guidance that has enabled them to navigate their
educational journeys thus far.
The past three years have been a unique and an ongoing learning experience for us all.
Throughout the various challenges and successes, our district, through the support of our Board
of Education, has worked diligently to remain focused on prioritizing the needs of students at the
forefront of our decision making. Our students are truly the beneficiaries of our collective efforts
and I continue to be filled with optimism as we prepare for the 2023-24 school year!
Wishing everyone a very safe, relaxing, and rejuvenating summer.
Sincerely,
Mark Daniels
