On all testing days, Early Check Out will not be allowed in order to ensure all students have uninterrupted time to complete their exams.

This is the real EOC test. A passing score is required for graduation.
9th graders who took Algebra in the 8th grade a passed the EOC will attend regular classes today.

Dear GPHS Parents,
Public schools have seen a growing number of students with Health Conditions that need to be monitored during the school day and require the student to have some kind of emergency medication available at school. We need your help to assure your child’s health needs are met during school hours if you have reported one of these health conditions: Asthma, Severe Food Allergy/Anaphylaxis, Diabetes, Seizure disorder or Epilepsy
If you have informed the school that your child currently has any of these health conditions, it is required that they have a Medical Action Plan on file which provides the physician’s recommendations for emergency treatment and also covers the consent for the student to have their emergency medication at school:

These medical action plans should be updated by your physician and submitted to your school nurse every school year and at least every calendar year if no changes have occurred.

Students Interested in a Driver's Permit or Driver's License
A parent or student must request a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) from the attendance office to apply for a driver's permit or driver's license. To qualify for a VOE, your child must have been present in all their classes at least 90% of the time during the previous semester.
NEW!!! -- If your child is testing for their driver's license or driver's permit during the school day, they may be marked present that day. To be marked present, your child must be 15 years of age and they need to turn in documentation from the DPS office.
