ELA Lesson 1
GOAL: To learn about letters, sounds and spring! To practice our drawing and writing skills.

SPECIAL: Art Lesson
In this week’s art lesson we are going to have fun with a Japanese art form called Gyotaku. To make our Gyotaku, we are going to use a type of printmaking called a rubbing!
Here’s a list of materials you will need for this project:
1. A piece of paper. This can be any empty paper you have around the house. You could even use the back of an old worksheet!
2. 3 peeled crayons in different colors. This would be a perfect project to use any broken crayons you have around the house. No, crayons? No problem! You could use pencils or pastels for this project as well!
3. A shoe with a textured bottom.

Special: Music Lesson
Watch the video to do a few music activities along with Mrs. Zingone, Mrs. Ostrander and Mrs. Schade. When you’re done, you can look at high and low sounds on the Google Chrome Music Lab or create a song in Incredibox. Here is the link to the “High Low” song.
