Home & School Meeting
We will be voting on whether or not to change our bylaws with regards to when we vote for our elected officers. All are welcome and encouraged to attend this very important meeting.
Save the date! Mrs. Lightstone will give a presentation about Children's Literature at our February 12 meeting.
DVD Literacy
Each year, each student that participates is recorded reading part of a favorite book and asked several questions about their school experience. At the end of their 5th grade year, the students will receive a DVD with their recordings from each year on it.
Taping will begin soon with 5th Grade. Please look for more information soon in your child's Communicator. The reminder form and questions can be found online here.
If you have not yet signed a permission form for your child (it only needs to be done once), a copy will be sent home in your child's communicator or you can find it online here (see also permission letter).
The DVD Literacy committee needs volunteers to help record the students during the school day. No experience necessary! If you are interested in volunteering, please email Amy Thompson at amybeth_g@yahoo.com.
Lip Sync
*The committee is currently looking for any parent(s) that would like to host the 5th Grade act this year. If you are interested, please contact Gina Rothenberger at gmrothenberger@gmail.com.
**Please note that the Lip Sync committee is asking that each act provide at least one parent volunteer the night of the event.*
