To Whom It May Concern:

I am more than excited to apply to Alabama State University in the fall of 2016. I plan on majoring in Sports Medicine and believe your school offers the best program.

I am the best candidate for your school because I have a strong work ethic and I am also a strong minded leader. Once committed to something, I push myself to the best of my ability. These are a characteristics every college student should have. I am a leader on and off the basketball court and I lead by example, not by domination.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my resume. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

2. How can learning to think critically help you in the real world?

I plan on pursuing a career in Sports Medicine, this is a branch of medicine that deals with physical fitness and the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise. I chose this as a career because I enjoy physical health and the passion I have for basketball I can still be close to it and at the same time helping people.

Career Plans

I really have my mind set on going to college and playing basketball and trying my best to make it pro. But if that does not work out as I plan, I will most definitely continue college and major in sports medicine that way I am still able to partake in something that I love. After doing this, I plan on joining the Army or Air Force.

College Plans

Right after high school, I plan on attending Alabama State University in the fall of 2016, playing basketball and majoring in Sports Medicine. If that does not work out on how I attend it to, I definitely have a back up plan that is also very beneficial and that is either joining the Army or Air Force.
