Note from Principal Renaud

October has bid farewell and the holidays are knocking on our door. We have made it through the toughest month in education! We have seven working days left until our Thanksgiving break. During this thanksgiving season, I want you all to know how thankful I am to be leading such a dedicated community. I understand that the demands of providing exceptional learning environments for our students can take a toll on teachers physically and mentally. I encourage us to hold each other up with kindness and caring. Know that I am here for each of you to support you along the way!

Read Alouds @ Nathan Adams

Nathan Adams teachers are reclaiming, reinvigorating, and reinventing the experience of Read Alouds in our classrooms. Big shout out to those of you who are sharing Read Alouds with your students often. Especially Ms. Stinnett who reads in math! Remember the bank account analogy. If we want to make "withdrawals" from our students personal accounts, then we must be making plenty of "deposits" by sharing good stories and Read Alouds. Lester Laminack gives an example below of how to share Read Alouds effectively.
