Halo Notes Summer Edition
St. Louis Catholic High School
Thursday, July 11, 2019
Halo Highlight:
Dear Saints Families,
A few weeks ago, I, along with our entire Advancement team, had the opportunity to travel to Boston to attend the Partners in Mission National Summer Institute. Partners in Mission is an organization dedicated to advancing the mission of Catholic schools across the country through best practices in fundraising, communications, marketing, admissions and other areas. It was my fourth time attending, and I still learned new things.
As a Catholic high school, we exist to serve our students, to bring them closer to God and educate them in mind, body and soul. Yet, we would be naïve to believe doing just that will keep our doors open, our message communicated and our campus growing. Catholic schools across the country close every year. However, there are Catholic schools thriving – and we heard many of their stories at the conference. By embracing the best practices in advancement, enrollment and marketing, they grow, they innovate, and they have a greater impact on their students and their communities.
I know our entire Advancement team is excited about taking all we have learned from our conference and ensuring that St. Louis Catholic High School remains a thriving school well into the future. We know too that we cannot do this without you. Thank you for all the support you have given.
Finally, I wanted to let you know that parents will receive a letter in the mail from me in the next couple of weeks with some information on the upcoming year, including anticipated news about new faculty and staff. Please continue to have a safe and restful summer!
God Bless,
Andrew R. Bradley, Principal
