Library redesign complete
The final piece of our library redesign was finally delivered: mobile charging stations. These plug into the floor outlets and allow up to six devices to charge at once.
Library Happenings
Read Across PR
Mrs. Krepin's reading classes wrote their own children's book as part of a unit taught by her student teacher, Ms. Vora. To celebrate Read Across America, which takes place during the first week in March, we connected via Google Meet with library classes at the elementary schools for live read-alouds of their stories. The students also recorded their stories on FlipGrid so the librarians have an "on-demand" video library to share with students any time. Read more here.
Reading Classes
This quarter, reading classes created bookmarks with book recommendations on them to send to students at Eden Hall, and participated in a "book speed dating" activity to preview books before choosing one for independent reading.
