Brown vs The Board of Education was when Oliver Brown and 11 other parents from Topeka, Kansas filed a lawsuit with the United States Supreme Court. The lawsuit claimed that segregation was unconstitutional because black children were receiving an inferior education to white children. The outcome of the court case was that schools became integrated.
