Summer Reading
Just a reminder to begin thinking about changes you'd like to see in our summer reading program. This is for the kids coming into your grade level next year. If you need copies of the existing program for your reference, just email me and I'm glad to pass those along to you. Thanks for helping make our summer reading program the best it can be!
Found Poetry
Below are some of the poetry our students "found" in the library the past few weeks. Some are silly, but all are impressive considering they were mostly done by first and second graders. Next week I'll have some examples of our students' haiku and acrostic poetry that they created. I am extremely proud of their work!
Website of the week
I'd like to remind you all of one of my favorite technology blogs. It's www.freetech4teachers.com and is managed by a very tech savvy educator in the northeast. I'll be hearing him present next week at TLA on trends in technology and I'm looking forward to it. His blog covers a lot of different areas of educational technology and I feel like it's a resource you would all benefit from greatly.
