Tips for Parents about Reading from Scholastic

Read A Thon Starts Tomorrow

ReadAThon envelopes were sent home last Friday (2/24)

Read dates are February 27th-March 3rd. Begin collecting pledges after your student adds their total time read. Return envelopes with the money collected by March 7th. Winners will be announced on March 10th before the start of Spring Break. Prizes are gift cards!!

GSIA Valentine Gram Update (Huge Success)

EastView GSIA thanks you for supporting our school during Valentines Week. We raised $841.39 with Candy Grams!! It was a great success and the students enjoyed the extra little notes of affection and candy.

On behalf of the American Heart Association, thank you very much for raising *$7,327.12 with your school's recent Kids Heart Challenge /American Heart Challenge program.

Families and schools are critical links in providing the foundation for cardiovascular wellness in our country. Your support and participation in the Kids Heart Challenge/American Heart Challenge makes a tremendous impact in helping millions of Americans through increased awareness of cardiovascular disease, lifesaving scientific research and critically needed education efforts.

The American Heart Association’s grant program offers participating schools grants of $250 up to $2,500 for health and wellness initiatives including physical activity equipment.
