SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

We will have the Scholastic Book Fair at our school on April 4th and April 8th. So exciting!

Kid's Heart Challenge

From March 21st to April 8th Mr. Bello will be facilitating this wonderful program and provide families with all they need to know about it soon.

As a Kids Heart Challenge Heart Hero, your child will impact kids with special hearts and raise funds for the health of all hearts. They’ll also get moving with fun activities, learn about keeping their hearts and minds healthy and the power of kindness!

Surveyworks

SurveyWorks began on Tuesday, January 18th. It is important for all of us to participate by answering the SurveyWorks questions, because our answers provide meaningful feedback on how to improve Rhode Island Schools.

This is the family link bit.ly/ridefamily and it will ask you to choose our school from a drop-down menu.

Be on the lookout for a special flyer with information about an opportunity to win a gift certificate by completing this survey!

Save the Date

We are planning an engaging family event for April 28th that will be focused on essential math learning, literacy, and FUN! This event will be in person from 5:30 pm-7 pm and we hope that you will consider joining us!

Quote of the Week

Unlock your potential.

Education is like a passport, opening many doors for you and your students. Educating your mind is a journey, not a destination. We never stop learning. There’s nothing anyone can do to prevent you from reaching your goals and your potential. The challenge is for you to identify your dream, develop the skills to get there, and exhibit character and leadership along the way. Just like you, every student in your classroom has the potential to succeed. Inside each student is the potential to be a doctor, lawyer, teacher, actor, or inventor. It takes great teachers to unlock that potential. Our goal as educators is to build the next generation of leaders. High quality teaching is vital to student success. Continue to learn and grow this year in your own career so you can create a successful path for our students.

Caught Being Kind!

Jaelyana G. from Mrs. Hervieux's room showed eagerness to help a peer spell a word correctly. She was very helpful and supportive.

Matthew K. , also from Mrs. Hervieux's room, cheered on a friend who lost a math competition. He said, "You did great!" and was so proud of him.

Isabella from Mrs. Roberts’ class noticed a student was by himself and went over to him so he wouldn’t be sad.

Michael L. from Mrs. Aquilante’s class did a wonderful job straightening up the room after snack.
