Dear Families,

We hope you had a chance to take advantage of the beautiful weather we had this weekend! Happy father's day to all the JPS dads, step-dads, grandfathers, and father-like figures!

It seems hard to believe that the year is coming to a close. This has been a year that we won't soon forget and although it has brought many challenges, it has also brought us closer together. Thank you for entrusting us with your most valuable possessions this year - we could not have done it without your support. The resilience of our students, the support of our community, and the perspective that this year has brought us, are to be celebrated! We wish you a happy and healthy summer ahead with your loved ones and can't wait to see you back, or on to high school, in September!

Thank You:

Thank you for our School Advisory Council (SAC) for your constant support and generosity. A big thank you to Miss Melissa and Mrs. Greenlees for giving up their time for the drive-thru community plant pick up. Another thank you to the Grade 8 parent volunteers, Hailey, Pam, Miss Wendy, Mrs. MacDonald, Mr. Guild, Mr. Inwood, and Ms. Redmond, who have helped us make Grade 8 Graduation so special for our graduates. Your kindness does not go unnoticed!

Our New Sign Is Missing:

Our new JPS sign has gone missing. We are hoping it was just the wind. Thanks to the quick thinking from our wonderful School Advisory Council (SAC), we have a Plan B in place for families to participate. Fingers crossed it is ready for Monday!

Phone Messages Checked Daily:

If we do not answer the phone, please leave a message. Phones are monitored from 9:10-3:35 pm each day, even when office staff are working from home. We will return your call as soon as we can! Alternatively, you can email Ms. Stephen, VP/SST at if you need to get in touch.

Please continue to complete attendance for your child even during this last week of school!

Take good care of yourselves and one another. Have a relaxing and safe summer!

Kindergaten September 2021 Registration Now Open! #SeeYourselfInLimestone

Spread the word about our amazing Kindergarten program and team at Joyceville Public School! We offer a full day of learning for four- and five-year-olds over a two year period in English! (Please note, the child must be 4 or 5 by the end of December!)

Our Kindergarten program aims to nurture the whole child. In our Kindergarten classroom, a teacher and an early childhood educator work together as a team. This partnership helps to create a nurturing learning environment; giving every student the opportunity to learn in the way that is best suited to their individual strengths and needs. You can feel confident your student will be cared for within safe and inclusive environments.

Now is the time to register.
