Aristotle Accomplishments
He was a towering figure in the ancient Greek philosophy. Aristotle made contributions to logic, metaphysics, mathematics, physics, biology, botany, ethics, politics, agriculture, medicine, dance, and theatre.
He was famous for rejecting Plato's theory of forms. He wrote almost 200 treatises but only 31 made it. Aristotle was also the first to classify areas of human knowledge into distinct discipline. Some are still used as of today.

Aristotle was bore circa 384 BC in stagira, a small town on the northern coast of Greece. He died in 322 BC a year after he fled to chalicis to escape prosecution under charges of impiety.
