INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 2 WEEKS OF VIRTUAL EDUCATION
As you know, the next two weeks will be completely online for grades 6-12. These times are unprecedented and the decision to move to full virtual education was done to do our part in mitigating the disease in our community. Hopefully with the cooperation of students, parents and the community we can significantly slow the spread of the disease in our area.
One of the most important things is for students to get on a strict schedule to work on their assignments and schoolwork. Students should plan on getting up and being ready for class at 8:05 whether they have live lessons or virtual work. Students should keep their cameras on and be interactive with the teacher in the classroom.
For students during this time the schedule will look the same as it has all year long. When students are scheduled to have face to face instruction they will have a live lesson with their teacher via Zoom or Google Meet. When students don't have live virtual instruction they are still expected to check into their classes virtually like they have been throughout the year. Students at the middle school will use the links provided to attend live classrooms with their teachers. The middle school schedule has been laid out for each student depending on what section they are in. The high school will simply go to the teacher link when they have that live class and click on the link. Due to the amount of unique schedules in the high school students will be responsible to find the appropriate teacher link when they are scheduled to have that class.
